ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Please note that although all presentations have 15 minutes in the programme, the presentation time is 10 minutes, Q&A is 3 minutes and 2 minutes is buffer time for going on and off the stage.

We have prepared a Dropbox folder to collect the presentations, which can be found HERE. This way, the technician has time to check your slides before the congress. The uploading system is active until 21 August, 22 PM (EEST).

If you cannot upload your presentation by the deadline, please bring your slides to the venue on a USB drive. Please hand the file to the technician (their desk is at the back of the hall) or to the volunteer at least 2 breaks before your presentation’s session starts.

Please use PPTX as the format and use slides in 16:9 format.

You will have a choice between a podium microphone and a head microphone. Please inform the technician during the break before your presentation if you would like to use a head microphone.

A volunteer and technician will be in the room to help at all times.

POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

The maximum size enabled for your poster is A0 - 841 mm (horizontal) x 1188 mm (vertical). Please choose a suitable format for your poster – portrait, not landscape.

Posters will be mounted using double-sided removable adhesive tape meant for posters, provided by the organizer.

-> Please do not print your poster on vinyl or too heavy paper.

-> Please do not put posters up using your own tape, it may damage the poster stands/glass.

Poster cases can be stored if the case is properly labelled. You can hand the poster case to the staff at the registration desk and then ask for it there when you would like to get it back.

Please mount your poster when you arrive at the venue and have received your badge. Please leave it up for as long as possible.

WHEN I ARRIVE TO THE VENUE WITH MY POSTER

  1. Where to get the poster mounting tools? Ask for the mounting tape at the registration desk or from the volunteers in the poster area who wear a green t-shirt. You are more than welcome to ask for any help from them.
  2. Where to put my poster? We have allocated the poster area into session blocks so please find your session number and put your poster to the right block.
  3. When will my poster session take place? We will specify the information when the programme is ready.
